Abbie Lundberg to Speak at AWC Annual Award Banquet

On Thursday, April 19, the upstate chapter of the AWC will announce who is this year's IT Woman of the Year at an 8am banquet at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

The keynote speaker at the award banquet will be Abbie, Lundberg, editor of CIO magazine. Ms. Lundberg has led the award-winning CIO editorial team since 1995. Under her stewardship, CIO has become the publication of record for chief information officers.

A leading expert on the major technology and business issues of the day, Lundberg has been quoted by The New York Times, CNN, USA Today, Time magazine, Reuters, Fox News and Investor's Business Daily. She appears frequently as a speaker and moderator at key industry events. Technology Marketing magazine (formerly Marketing Computers) has named her a Top Journalist and a Media "Influencer" for the past six years.

Under Lundberg's leadership, CIO magazine has received over 100 editorial awards, including the Grand Neal, from American Business Media, in 2003, and Magazine of the Year, from the American Society of Business Publication Editors, in 1999 and 2001.
