Dee Pelow

IT Manager, Jay Advertising

In Dee Pelow’s position as IT Manager at Jay Advertising, she is described by her co-workers as a “gentle force” that offers great leadership and keeps them online and connected seamlessly.  Responsible for their backbone systems including the creative team’s artistic environment, telecommunications, accounting and other archival systems, she allows Jay Advertising to meet its tight deadlines and client demands.  From small to large, all requests are met with professionalism, accuracy, and boundless energy that are an inspiration to others. 

Dee is a lifelong learner, growing her technology skills as technology has developed over the past three decades.  Her education began at RIT where she received a degree in Printing Management.  She later moved into desktop publishing where she eventually became the trainer for the art directors at ICE Communications Inc., helping to train and transition the Art Department to desktop publishing compatible systems. 

Then at Eric Mower and Associates as a Studio Manager, Dee supported their computer systems and used her influence to help the organization maintain its technological edge.  Again pushing her own skills, Dee became a member of the Information Technology group at The Wolf Group, becoming A+ Certified in order to support both the hardware and software ends of the business including archival systems.  Finally at Jay Advertising her commitment to learning continues as she has extended her knowledge to incorporating networking systems implementation and support.

Leading by example, Dee’s commitment to continued education and leadership in the technology field as well as her aptitude for problem solving, professionalism and kindness of spirit make her an inspiration for woman aspiring to technology as a career.

Dee has also served our country in the US Army from 1980 – 1984 and in the US Army Reserves from 1984 to 1995.
