Re-Branding Yourself

Have you defined your personal brand? Do you know what makes you valuable to your employer? To your peers? Your clients? Is your career properly focused, integrating your strengths with your goals? This interactive discussion will demonstrate how to structure and focus your knowledge, skills and attributes towards your desired place in life – professionally and personally. Using the simple steps of the Personal Value Proposition (PVP) model will assist you in crystallizing your brand - or re-branding yourself in the new year - to make you more marketable and professionally successful. The PVP model is your platform to consistently advance, differentiate and win – and to make you excited about your own future!

Luis Martinez has been coaching and advising employees, peers and executives for many years. Luis has most recently been a Human Resources Consultant in Xerox, Corp.
In Xerox Luis directed a global human resources team for Xerox Worldwide Manufacturing, with facilities in the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Asia. His previous assignments were with Lehigh Valley Hospital, Exide Corporation, Hay Associates, and the U.S. Government.
Born and raised in Cuba, Luis was sent to the United States by his parents to avoid being conscripted into Fidel Castro’s militia. After his parents arrived in Miami, he attended 6 schools in 5 years, while his parents moved to various locations trying to find better jobs and improve their lives. Luis observed his parents, Jose Luis and Zoila, as they managed through crises - their story is one of courage and survival. Luis credits their tutelage for his boundless faith and optimism.
Luis earned a B.A. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Delaware. He also earned certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
An avid sports car racer, Kung Fu practitioner and triathlete, Luis and his family have a home in Pittsford, near Rochester, New York.

This event will be held on January 17th at 7:30 AM at 300 Meridian Center/ EDS Conference Room. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Registration is required.
