Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Compliance: Although
credit card companies (MC/VISA. AMEX, Discover) have established
a uniform standard for companies to comply with, in order to gain
PCI compliance, organizations are struggling with the twelve high
level requirements. This presentation will discuss the requirements
in depth and common issues that organizations are running into
in their quest to comply and the mitigating controls that can
help remediate potential areas of failure.
Jennie Delucia, president of her own consulting firm, JD Consulting,
is an independent consultant with six years experience and expertise
in the areas of IT auditing, information security, computer forensic
investigations, information privacy, compliance, and training
and awareness within the financial, manufacturing, and academic
field. Before starting her own firm, Jennie worked in the
commercial sector as a computer forensic investigator, Security
SME, network and system administrator, Sr. IT Auditor, and Regulatory
Content Manager. She holds a BS/MS in IT from RIT and GSEC,
GCFA, SSP-GHD, CISA, CIPP, and CIFI certifications. In addition,
she is a teaching assistant for the SANS Institute and writes
certification exam questions for both SANS and ISACA. |
